Speaker:
Daniel Chervenka, Axia
Location:

Palliser Hotel, 133 - 9th Avenue SW

Topic Abstract:

Forensics has been around for a long, long time and was based on the Roman system of justice where two sides would utilize a forum to present their respective cases. It was originally the art of how to best present your side of the story over that of another. Today, the understanding of forensics is quite different and is usually based on the sciences and associated with law enforcement. The advent of digital technology has changed forensics yet again and has given rise to a relatively new forensic discipline that is not only applicable to law enforcement but now, more than ever, to the corporate world too. One of the most significant challenges with corporate forensics is making the business case for the capability.
